Chinese magnesium alloy output was297 thousand tons in 2013, YOY growth 43.52%. In 2013, 101 thousand ofmagnesium alloys exported, YOY 10.44% growth. The consumption of magnesiumalloy was 15 thousand tons; it is 70% growth compare to 115 thousand tons in2012. Magnesium alloy output was 415 thousand tons and the consumption was 300thousand tons in 2015.
Automobile industry is the majorforce of magnesium alloy consumption industry; over 60 vehicle components aremade from magnesium alloy. The alloy not only benefits vehicles by its lightweight, but also its lower cost.
